ACTC

The Alzheimer's Clinical Trials Consortium needed to revamp their website to attract new researchers, scientists, and clinicians to pursue research of Alzheimer’s disease.
Objective:
The Alzheimer's Clinical Trials Consortium, ACTC, struggled with how to tell their story. This is a unique entity within the field of Alzheimer's research.
They aren’t a research institute – they’re a network of researchers, clinicians, and scientists focused on Alzheimer’s and related dementias. They review new ideas, advise on trial design, provide access to a network of clinical sites, and share expertise to guide studies from start to finish.
To tell the story of ACTC, you must tell the story of it's researchers. At it's heart, it's a group of individuals working together in the hopes of a better world - one where Alzheimer's and related dementias have more effective treatments and even a cure.
To that end, we interviewed a series of ACTC members to talk about not only what is happening in the research, but also what ACTC means for the field.

Results:
Between the video and updated website, we ensured ACTC was approachable and clear in it's function and intent.
- Clarifying the different committees and units that made up the infrastructure of ACTC
- Highlighting the different site members and their roles in the research
- Emphasizing that research was happening across the spectrum of the disease - and what those studies were finding
ACTC now had an attractive, effective website and introductory video to introduce them to their audience and clarify how they helped advance AD research.
